Charles Brodie Brown

Our Brodie boy finally came to meet us yesterday at 5:52 PM, weighing in at 9 lbs. 5 oz, and 22.5 in. long. Teri is fine and recovering slowly but surely. Unfortunately Teri had a fever from being in labor for 30 hours, so for a safety precaution the hospital took Brodie to the NICU shortly after he was born to make sure that he does not have any infections. Luckily the tests have all come back good, but he still has to remain in the NICU until tomorrow evening until 6:00 pm when he should be released. We already adore this sweet boy, and are anxious to take him home. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

The Countdown

Today marks the official week countdown until the baby is born. My last Dr's Appointment, she told me that she was going to induce me on April 27th, which is exactly one week away. I cannot believe that it is so close. We are getting really excited to meet our little baby boy. My sister in-law Rachel had her baby last night, and we got to go see them in the hospital. He is so precious. Congratulations to the both of the them. It made it seem a little more real knowing that that would be us in one week. I will keep everyone posted, and we hope that all goes well!!
