All Smiles

I decided that I needed to get some pictures of Brodie smiling because I think it is the cutest thing. He has such a great smile and it totally takes over his whole face. He is just happy hanging out in his onsie. I also am posting a couple of pictures of Brodie's first time in nana and papa's pool. Thanks Stace and Jon for the swimming suite. The last pictures is off my nephews Austin, Ethan, and Ben. They all play so cute together!

Weekend to Remember

Troy and I headed to New York last Thursday where my parents are serving a mission for our church. Because they are on their mission they were not able to come see Brodie when he was born. Troy and I decided that we wanted to go to New York to bless the baby there and for him to be able to meet Grandma and Grandpa, and the Wright family (Celeste, Tage and Kajsia). The pictures are of Brodie's blessing day. The day was very special. Troy gave Brodie a beautiful blessing and the baby did not make a peep. Brodie looked so handsome in his little suit. We blessed Brodie in Celeste and Tage's ward in Harlem. Troy's parents flew in from Albuquerque, and so my dad, Tage, Troy and Troy's dad were all in the circle. After church we headed up to Mom and Dad's in Scarsdale for a nice dinner and evening with good company (Mom, Dad, Celeste, Tage, Chuck, Shirlene, Kajsia, and Brodie). The rest of the weekend was fun filled with good food in the city, Shrek the musical, tour of Westpoint and FDR's house, and visiting with family. We so glad Brodie could finally meet Grandma and Grandpa and the Wrigt family. He loved spending time with Gramy and Papa H and got lots of hugs and kisses from them. We are sad they are not closer, but know that we are all blessed while they are serving the Lord and are grateful for their example.
